HYGY™ Performance Fabric

This futuristic fabric is almost too good to be true - You have to see it to believe it!

What Is HYGY™?

HYGY™ Brand Fabric® is single layer construction with super performance, made by a patented Nano Silicone Impregnate Process. In addition to being lightweight, soft to the touch, and comfortable, it has supreme performance functions:

  • Super high strength
  • Low friction and high abrasive resistance
  • Soil repellency in hot water and oil
  • Water Resistance and Breathable
  • Low absorbance and quick drying qualities
  • High color fastness
  • High resilience
  • Chemical resistance to salt water, strong acid, and alkaline.
  • Anti- fungal/anti-mosquitoes
  • Non-toxic
  • Maintains all functions in extreme heat and extreme cold.
What are the Characteristics of HYGY™?
  • HYGY™ Brand Fabric is only a single layer fabric yet with more functions than laminated or coated fabric.
  • The function of HYGY™ is durable by hot grease/oil/fat, human sweat, or food stains.
  • HYGY™ process in lightweight micro woven fabric can resist more than 1000mm of water pressure, which is enough to protect users from rainfall before seeking shelter.
  • HYGY™ Brand Fabric® is far stronger than hard-shell or soft-shell fabrics of the same weight.

How Does HYGY™ Compare to Other Processed Fabrics?

Superior Performance:

The physical performance of HYGY™, patent pending, fabric is far superior than other fabrics with regular DWR treatment including PTFE (Teflon) in following aspects: higher strength, higher abrasive resistance, more washable, better chemical resistance, better color fastness, quick dry, anti-bacterial, tolerant to extreme temperatures, and high resilience.

Environmental Friendly:

The major important difference between HYGY and other DWR treatments is environmental friendliness. KTTEX is near the FDA food grade. Test reports are available upon request. However, most DWR treatments including in the process of producing PTFE (Teflon) with the material of PFOA and PFOS are highly toxic. While the finished products carry a small amount of PFOS, but upon burning, PTFE will release harmful chemical. Water- and Energy-Saving:

The strength of HYGY fabric in soil-resistance and water-repellent has been tested by NASA for its applications for astronauts garments in outer space. HYGY can be wiped clean with a wet towel without soaking water. California Water District has recognized its water-saving and its "no wash" or "less wash" energy-saving technology.

The Only Solution:

The production of PTFE is terminating except the chemical is sold to and processed in few developing countries. However, the end product selling to the end user is still harmful and not recyclable. Although a producer announced they have found a way to decompose the chemical. But once the clothing sold, there is no feasible way of retrieving them. Producing the unregulated DWR fabric in developing countries including China, many workers are not aware of nor protected from the harmful chemicals. Eventually, the harmful process will be terminated. An article published in Washington Post, and an USEPA progress report is as shown in reference 1 and 2 as attached.
